   The Ministry of Water and Environment received funds from Agence Française de Développement ("AFD") towards the cost of the Construction of Isingiro Water Supply and Sanitation Project , and it intends to apply part of the funds to payments under the contract for singiro Water Works. The Employer intends to prequalify a minimum of six (06) firms for:
Works located in the Isingiro District (Southwest of Uganda) and covering the elements as follows:
- Construction of approximately 10 steel or reinforced concrete distribution reservoirs with capacities between 600 m³ and 100 m³, and 7 sumps (reinforced concrete and steel with capacities between 2,000 m³ and 300 m³), and 12 pumping stations with flows between 300 m³/h and 15 m³/h, spread over 18 sites:
- Laying of approximately 170 km of transmission mains (DN 110 to DN 500, ductile iron, HDPE, PVC), including connections with existing reservoirs (Kabaare, Ngarama, Masha and Kabuyanda) and the newest Kabingo and Kagera pumping stations:
- Laying of approximately 110 km of distribution network (DN 90 to DN 250), including connexions to existing distribution networks.
It is expected that invitations for bid will be posted in December 2021.
Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information from and inspect the prequalification documents at the Ministry of Water and Environment (address below) from 09:00am to 04:00pm East African Time.
A complete set of the prequalification documents in English may be purchased by interested Applicants on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of UGX. 200,000 (Uganda shillings two hundred thousand shillings only] .The method of payment will be by bank advise forms which may be Obtained form the Ministry of Water and Environment Accounts offices/Uganda revenue Authority Website.payment can be made in the any Local bank and the payment details presented to the Procurement and Disposal Unit.The documents should be collected by the prospective Bidder or his representative .No Liabiltiy will be accepted for loss or late delivery.
